In a historical setting, a mysterious stranger arrives in town with a mission to assist opium addicts during a significant era. Meanwhile, a young woman known as Auntie 13 returns home after spending time abroad, bringing with her a modernized Western style and attitude that challenges the traditional values of the town. Adding further complexity to the story, Auntie 13 becomes involved with the enigmatic clinic and assumes a prominent role among its staff. Tensions rise as a well-respected kung fu master, specialized in the Northern style, becomes affected by the peculiar serum used in the experiments.
