But amidst their love affair, a second story arc emerged, venturing beyond enemy lines and exploring military training and the bonds formed during times of war.
  
  It may have seemed impossible to surpass the charm and charisma of actor Zhang Ruo Yun, who played the dashing Feng Tian Yi, but Xu Zheng Xi proved to be more than capable in his portrayal of the enigmatic Magician Xue. With a demure and stoic demeanor, Xu brought the character to life, reminding us that he was eighty years Ru Che's senior, according to the myth. Actress Wang Yu Wen perfectly matched him as the quicksilver Ru Che, embodying her mother's spontaneity alongside her father's whirlwind energy. Their chemistry and interactions were truly captivating. While the rest of the cast performed admirably, I wished for more character development for Yun Mu Yang, Xue's foster brother. And I couldn't help but wonder about the enigmatic anorexic boy, Xu Yu. Though he emanated an air of fairytale mystique, I hoped his origins would receive more attention in the next season.
  
  The soundtrack of the series built upon the themes introduced in the previous season, providing a soulful and emotional backdrop to the unfolding drama. If you enjoyed the melodies before, you won't be disappointed this time around. As a lover of old-fashioned romance and passionate kissing scenes, I eagerly anticipate rewatching not only the second season but also the first.
  
  While I found the beginning of the series more captivating than its ending, I must say that if you crave a story filled with intense soulmate connections, destined lovers willing to sacrifice everything for one another, then this is the series for you. It's a beautiful reminder that true love can help us find our wings.

  This TV series is awesome, like seriously. It excels in pretty much every aspect, with each character, scene, outfit, and joke hitting all the right spots. Honestly, you gotta check it out for yourself. I'm super happy with this season, especially the incredible chemistry between the main actors, the fengXue couple. It is not mere infatuation with the actor himself, but rather a deep admiration for his craft. I shall eagerly seek out more of his captivating performances in future dramas.

  So, I just finished this amazing drama that I have to talk about. First thing that stood out to me was the beautiful background music throughout the story. The music is so epic and soulful, it really hits you in the feels. And what's even cooler is that some of the songs have this Indian and pan-Asian vibe that just adds to the cultural appeal.

  One thing I really appreciated about this drama was that there wasn't a tiresome love triangle. Thank goodness! Instead, we get this tender and intense love story between the main characters, who happen to have quite the age difference (over a century, to be precise). It's a bit unconventional, but I found it to be surprisingly beautiful.
  
  The first few episodes of the series are the best. They've got everything - variety, entertainment, charm, romance, humor, adventure, seriousness - you name it. It's all just so captivating and exotic. Unfortunately, I have to admit that the rest of the episodes are just okay. The plot development becomes a bit bland and inconsistent, which was a shame because the story and characters started off so refreshing and unique.
  
  There's also a side love story that starts off interesting, but quickly becomes a bit hopeless. The side characters' reactions are pretty immature and impulsive, which frustrated me at times.
  
  What really got me emotionally invested in this drama was the main vampire character's past. It's so tragic and it made me feel so sorry for her. I wished she had a happier ending, but alas, it wasn't meant to be.
  
  But hey, let's focus on the positives here. The interactions between the main characters are top-notch. Their dialogues, along with the supporting cast's, are excellent. They kept me engaged throughout the series. And can we talk about the female lead? She's strong, feisty, and resourceful, while still managing to be a cute damsel in distress. It's a rare combination of traits that I really enjoyed.
  
  When it comes to love, the male lead is a bit clueless, which can be frustrating. But the female lead takes charge and confronts him head-on. I love her direct approach.
  
  Now, the ending. It's happy, but a tad disappointing. The male lead is resurrected a decade later, but he has lost all his memories. It's bittersweet, you know? But there's hope because he allows Ah Che to hug him, which makes me think he might just fall for her again.
  
  Overall, despite its flaws, this drama has some really great moments. The music, the characters, and the love story all make it worth watching. Give it a shot if you're into intense and unconventional romances.
