I must admit, I had high hopes for this drama, but I ended up feeling a tad let down. The story, well... it was just okay. Okay, but with a catch. It moved at the speed of a snail on a lazy Sunday afternoon. I mean, seriously, couldn't they have picked up the pace a bit? It felt like everything was being dragged out longer than it needed to be.

But hey, if you're feeling adventurous and still want to give this drama a whirl, who...

am I to stop you? The plot, when you strip it down, is pretty straightforward. So don't go in expecting any mind-blowing twists or turns, my friend.

On a brighter note, the casting was pretty spot-on. Some of these actors were relatively newbies, but they really held their own. Kudos to them for bringing the characters to life and adding that much-needed spark to the otherwise lackluster storyline.

Ultimately, though, it's a long shot that I'll be revisiting this drama in the future. It just didn't quite capture my attention and left me reaching for the snooze button more times than I care to admit. But hey, different strokes for different folks, right? So go ahead and see if it resonates with you. Just don't say I didn't warn you about its potential snooze-fest moments.

Prepare to be enchanted by a hidden gem that dances to its own rhythm! This drama may not be everyone's cup of tea, as it gracefully takes its time to unfold. But if you're willing to savor the sweet moments and embrace the steady cadence, then you're in for a treat!

Let's start with the title itself, "Andante." Just like the musical term suggests - moderately slow - this drama sets its own pace, allowing each scene to resonate and linger in your heart. Admittedly, I...

also had my moments of taking breaks between episodes, as it's slower than my usual drama preference. However, I soon realized that the deliberate slowness was not a flaw, but an intentional choice that adds depth and nuance to the storytelling.

Now, if you're a fan of captivating performances and endearing characters, "Andante" will sweep you off your feet. The entire cast shines brilliantly, but one character stole my heart – Bom. Though technically not the main focus, Bom's presence is felt throughout the narrative. Her emotional journey spans the entire drama, driving the growth and transformation of other characters. Prepare yourself for a roller coaster of emotions, as she leaves an indelible mark on the lives of those around her, and in turn, on you as well.

While I won't give away any spoilers, I must warn you - the last two episodes pack an emotional punch. Grab a box of tissues before you embark on this heart-tugging finale. You'll be moved to tears as the story reaches its bittersweet climax, leaving you with a renewed sense of hope for the future.

To those who appreciate the beauty of slower-paced dramas with profound yet simple storylines, I wholeheartedly recommend "Andante." Let it weave its magic around you, transporting you into a world where time seems to stand still. And if you find that slow dramas aren't your cup of tea, fear not and steer clear. Stick to what brings you joy, for there are many other exciting stories waiting to be explored.

So, turn up the volume, press play, and let "Andante" serenade your soul with its tender melodies and poignant moments. You might just discover a newfound appreciation for the art of taking things slow.

Unfortunately, this drama was a disappointment. The standout performance came from Kai, who convincingly portrayed a carefree student who undergoes a significant change. His portrayal was delightful, showcasing his ability to play the cute, happy, outgoing guy. Another interesting aspect was the love story of Kai's sister, which added depth to the plot. Despite these positives, the rest of the drama fell short. The editing was particularly problematic, with abrupt jumps in time that made it difficult to follow the story. Additionally, the storyline itself...

was average and lacked originality, only redeemable by a major twist in the end. The actress who played Bom struggled with expressions, especially in the early episodes, although she did show improvement as the series progressed. While this is forgivable as her first acting attempt, overall, the drama receives a disappointing rating.

So, here's the deal: I had to take a frickin' month-long break from this show called Andante. It was a struggle, man. At first, I couldn't handle it. The first few episodes were so annoying, with these characters who just got on my nerves, and the story seemed dumb. I mean, seriously? But then, around halfway through, things started to pick up. It got more serious and mature, you know?

What started as a silly show turned into a real tearjerker towards the end. But here's...

the thing, besides the characters who were annoying for no good reason, the pacing was all messed up. There were random plotlines that didn't even fit, like when the hospice closed down. Like, what? So we wasted a bunch of time on stuff that didn't matter and then had to cram in a lot of important stuff about Bom and her dad in the last few episodes.

Honestly, Andante would've been better if it was shorter. I mean, they could've gotten to the juicy dramatic stuff—like Bom's illness, her death, and grandma's passing—much sooner and explored it properly. But nah, they dragged it out. Such a shame, really.

Once upon a time, there was a TV series that had mixed reviews. Some said it was a bit dull, while others found it to be realistic and engaging. As an entertainment journalist and a dedicated viewer, I wanted to form my own opinion. And so, I embarked on the journey of watching this particular series called Andante.

The story in Andante didn't quite captivate me from the start. It had a slow pace that made it difficult to anticipate where it was headed. It wasn't...

until the last fourth of the series that things started to make sense. The basic synopsis, which revolved around a young boy experiencing unfamiliar situations and finding the true meaning of life and love, gave away the overall storyline. I have to admit, it sounded a bit mundane.

However, the strength of Andante lied in its characters. The cast, mostly consisting of rookie actors, impressed me with their performances. Let's start with the leading man, Kai. Initially, I didn't have high expectations for him since he was primarily known as an idol-actor. But as the series progressed, Kai successfully portrayed a mischievous yet kind-hearted teenager, bringing a sense of authenticity to the role. While his acting skills may not have been the most profound, he managed to embody his character with ease. Though he didn't leave a lasting impression on me, his contribution to the drama was satisfactory.

In terms of the female leads, Lee Ye Hyun was a revelation. Despite being a rookie actor, she breathed life into her rebellious character, Lee Shi Young. Ye Hyun's ability to convey emotions and add depth to the role was commendable. At times, Shi Young even outshined the other characters, leaving a strong impact whenever she appeared on screen. On the other hand, Kim Jin Kyung, another rookie actor, didn't leave as much of an impression on me.

The beauty of Andante was its ability to make viewers fall in love with all the characters. Each one had their own story, even the supporting characters. This allowed the audience to understand their perspective and minimized any plot holes. The characters felt real, thanks to the well-written and thoughtfully developed scripts.

Moving on to the music, the OST of Andante was decent. It added to the mood of the series, but none of the tracks stood out as particularly memorable.

My enjoyment of Andante had its ups and downs. Initially, with each passing episode, I felt like nothing significant was happening, and I even contemplated dropping the series. However, as the characters began to develop and their stories unfolded, my appreciation for the drama grew. The slow pace of the plot was a significant drawback, but the well-balanced comedy helped alleviate some of the dull moments.

As for rewatch value, I admit I wouldn't be eager to watch Andante again solely due to the slow story. However, I might revisit it someday just to reconnect with the characters that I grew to love.

In conclusion, Andante wasn't a must-watch series. It had its flaws, but it also had some remarkable aspects that left a lasting impression. If you're a fan of well-developed characters and can tolerate a slow-moving plot, this series might be worth checking out. Just be prepared to give it a fair chance, as it takes some time to find its stride.
