  This drama is a mixed bag for me. While there were moments that kept me interested, there were also times where I felt things were dragging. However, overall, it was not a bad drama and it never tested my patience. The central plot revolves around a fated pair sent by heaven to seal a demon who was once the god of death. This demon, now consumed by greed, must be trapped in a magical vessel in the form of a painting to save humanity.

  in the storyline did get on my nerves, not because they were cliches, but because they were executed in a frustrating way. There were times where the characters seemed to be wasting time on trivial matters instead of focusing on the important task at hand. The show also suffered from a slow start and some unanswered questions. However, the artistic elements, such as the paintings used as vessels, were visually pleasing. The CGI and cinematography added to the supernatural elements when necessary.
  
  The cast did a good job, including the side characters, and there were no annoying performances. Special mention goes to the talented child actress who played the role of the tiger goddess. As for the main characters, the blind male lead's heightened senses seemed too convenient and the emotional-driven nature of the female lead made her somewhat unlikable. The typical villain motive of seeking power added to the predictability of the plot. The second male lead, who falls in love with the female lead, was the only character I felt attached to. Despite having chemistry and treating her well, he doesn't get the girl because he wasn't the destined one, which was disappointing.
  
  Overall, this drama had its flaws, but the idea of a demon trapped in a painting was intriguing. I would classify it as a decent, mediocre drama that might appeal to those seeking something average on their watchlist.   What a rollercoaster ride! As an avid Kdrama fan, I was eagerly awaiting this drama, but I must admit, I didn't have high expectations. However, I was still hoping for a decent drama with average ratings. Unfortunately, I found it hard to stay engaged after the first few episodes. I was praying for improvement, but eventually had to fast forward to the end just for closure.

  story revolves around Hong Chun Ki, the only known female painter with divine powers, and Ha Ram, the son of the head shaman. Both characters have a unique connection and are fated to seal a powerful demon in a portrait. As adults, they are drawn into a web of palace intrigue and power struggles, all leading to the ultimate goal of sealing the demon once again.
  
  The cast, especially the experienced actors in supporting roles, delivered commendable performances. However, I must admit that I was disappointed by the acting of the main cast. They had the potential to shine but fell short, offering underwhelming performances.
  
  The drama did have its share of questionable choices, such as a kiss scene between the child actors playing the younger versions of the main characters. While such displays may have been more common historically, it felt unnecessary and uncomfortable to witness in a TV show.
  
  The plot development left much to be desired, with inconsistent pacing and numerous plot holes that left me confused. The script lacked coherence and could not maintain my interest. There were times when the story dragged on and others when it felt rushed. It's a shame because the emphasis on art and painting in the competition scenes was intriguing.

  One character, in particular, stood out as the most obnoxious and entitled female lead in a Korean historical drama. Her behavior, especially during a painting contest, was reminiscent of a spoiled child throwing a tantrum. The idea that one could hear brushstrokes and decipher the content of a painting based on sound alone felt contrived and unrealistic.
  
  Lastly, the potential for the royal shaman to play a more significant role was wasted. She seemed to hover in a gray area, neither good nor completely evil. It was expected that she would have a grand moment during the final ritual, redeeming herself and saving the kingdom. However, her sudden demise without any real impact left viewers feeling disappointed and dissatisfied.
  
  While the initial episodes of this series held promise, the latter half failed to live up to expectations. Predictability plagued the plotlines, leaving little room for surprise or excitement. It became a mere obligation to finish watching, akin to completing a task for the sake of reporting.
