Playing Ep 01

Summary:

Two former martial arts disciples, Huo En Di and Zhao Sheng Xian, were inseparable brothers. However, their bond was shattered when En Di's dying shifu chose him as the successor, witnessed only by En Di himself. Since then, their families, the Huo and Zhao clans, have been bitter rivals, engaging in periodic martial arts competitions.

En Di's fourth son, Huo Yuan Jia, was never taught martial arts due to his frail health. Instead, his father focused on his scholarly pursuits. This caused Yuan Jia's pride to suffer, leading him to secretly train in martial arts under a mysterious master who had saved his life.

During one of the clan's customary showdowns fueled by their feud, Sheng Xian's eldest disciple brother unexpectedly appears seeking revenge, believing he should have been the true successor. As it appears that no one can defeat him, Yuan Jia is compelled to reveal his hidden martial arts skills, honed in secrecy throughout the years.
