Summary:

In a mythical portrayal of Chinese history, an emperor under threat dreams of a savior clad in white armor destined to defend the realm. Following this prophetic vision, his trusted counsel interprets the dream, suggesting the emperor's deliverer will be a man bearing the name of a legendary general. This insight sets in motion a kingdom-wide quest to find the predestined hero among the military ranks.

However, the search is fraught with challenges as the emperor's court is infiltrated by deceit and ambition. Self-serving officials, eager to co-opt the prophecy for their advantage, obstruct the pursuit of the true savior. Amidst this corruption, our would-be hero is mistakenly overlooked and relegated to the humble position of an army cook. Undeterred by his lowly status, he must navigate the tumultuous politics of the imperial army, all while his destiny as the protector of the dynasty quietly unfolds.
