Playing Ep 01

Summary:

When a father passes away, Bou Foon is left with a mission to bring his feuding family back together. In his will, their father stipulates that they must live together in his run-down home for nine months before they can sell it. Reluctantly, Foon's siblings eventually agree, once they discover the value of the apartment.

Foon, who had previously left the family behind, finds himself the least respected among his siblings. However, after his father's death, he begins to understand the value of unity. On the first day of moving into the apartment, Foon encounters a mysterious elderly couple, Bak Wah and Yi Lan, who claim to be his neighbors. Strangely, he and his young niece are the only ones who can see them. Confused by this, Foon learns that the apartment next door has been empty for years.

His suspicion solidifies when he sees Bak Wah survive a fall from the building unscathed. Foon also meets a certified electrician named Chu Chan-chan, who warns him about a recent fire caused by electrical problems in the building. Though Foon initially rejects Chan-chan's services due to the cost, his sibling Yan later hires her, as they were former classmates.
