The narrative revolves around an assassin who is assigned to eliminate his ex-girlfriend's older sister (the reasons behind this will be revealed). However, instead of carrying out the hit, he becomes her protector against the forces of darkness. Through a series of misunderstandings, their relationship evolves from animosity to an extraordinary bond, as they uncover the truth behind the younger sister's untimely demise, an illicit drug conspiracy within the protagonist's company, and their own misconceptions. I strongly urge you to watch this series without revealing more, as its compelling storyline and suspense will keep you hooked until the very end.
  
  Now let's discuss the cast. I must confess, I wasn't initially a fan of the two leads. Having seen Mik in previous lakorns, I found his performances to be rather average. However, this series has completely changed my perception, as Mik displays exceptional acting prowess. His portrayal of the enigmatic, yet kind-hearted, protective, intelligent, and, most importantly, romantic bodyguard will make you swoon. As for the female lead, her voice initially grated on my nerves, considering it was my first time witnessing her talent. However, I assure you, the other aspects of this drama overshadow any negatives related to her voice. The romantic and comedic moments between the leads are simply delightful, and their chemistry ignites the screen. Additionally, the show features lovable supporting characters, as well as deceitful ones harboring secrets. Although there are a few amusing interactions between a potential secondary couple, the focus remains on the bromance between the male lead and his loyal best friend, Pong—a truly endearing relationship that will undoubtedly win your heart.
  
  Lastly, the production value of this lakorn is astonishing. The OSTs and BGM enhance the intensity and flavor of the series, with certain action sequences reminiscent of intense moments in popular Korean dramas like The K. All in all, I highly recommend this lakorn to viewers of all preferences. For me, it will forever remain an unforgettable series that made me laugh, shed tears, and unquestionably fall head over heels. (And let's not forget our newfound appreciation for Mik, hehe.)   From start to finish, the female lead of this TV series left a lot to be desired. While there's a difference between being stubborn and being an entitled, unintelligent brat, she falls into the latter category. I couldn't help but find her infuriating. It's as if the male lead is wasted on her. He consistently comes to her rescue, yet she can't even bring herself to express a proper thank you. Instead, she constantly insults him. Even during...

  their initial encounter when he reveals himself as a hitman, she does nothing but hurl insults and act rudely. Then, she acts surprised when he responds with aggression. It's mind-boggling. She seems to lack common sense, coming across as a brainless bimbo. The male lead, on the other hand, shows remarkable understanding and patience throughout. Any other person would have lost their temper with her after all the abuse she throws at him. But he remains calm, resorting to only verbal threats as he walks away from her. It's frustrating to see her repeatedly take advantage of his kindness.
  
  The plot of the show is captivating, but I can't help but wish the female lead was more likable. Her irrational behavior reminds me of another character from a previous drama. However, she acts even worse than that character. She treats everyone around her as inferior, firing employees left and right. As the daughter of a wealthy businessman, she has no real skills or qualifications to command such arrogance. Even within her own company, she struggles to make an impact. Instead, she presents the work of her subordinates as her own, failing to garner respect from shareholders. She has no accomplishments to speak of, nor is she witty or competent in her job. She continuously puts herself in dangerous situations without the necessary skills to handle them. Whether in her personal life or professional endeavors, she comes across as spoiled and unintelligent rather than a "strong" female lead, as intended.
  
  While the idiocy is not as prevalent with other characters, it bothered me in various instances throughout the series. For example, the characters seem oblivious to the importance of preserving digital evidence and freely handing it over without making copies. This lack of attention to detail made it difficult for me to take the show seriously.
  
  The overall plot and other characters had the potential to make this a compelling series for me. However, the unlikability of the female lead ultimately soured my experience. Although the acting, including the female lead's performance, was commendable, with the exception of one actor who came across as over-the-top and forced. I didn't feel a genuine connection between the main characters, but I attribute this not to the acting itself but to the lack of chemistry between the characters.

  The male lead, an ex-shooter, possesses all the qualities that a leading man should have: strength, protectiveness, love, kindness, and a touch of badassery. The chemistry between the two leads is off the charts; their progress and connection feel genuine, despite the notable age gap.
  
  The acting in this series is top-notch, particularly the performances of the male leads. The female lead beautifully portrays an arrogant yet caring businesswoman. As for the male lead, his portrayal is exceptional - his talent shines through every scene. The on-screen couple is undeniably adorable together.
  
  The villains in the series are well-crafted, with an interesting twist involving one character who was initially portrayed as the primary antagonist. However, as the story progresses, he is revealed to be a coward, adding a surprising element to the plot.
