Summary:

A struggling artist, Yao Shang Qian, remains obscure despite his decade-long pursuit of recognition. However, he becomes an overnight sensation when an old, forgotten painting he created 18 years ago resurfaces. This unexpected fame is orchestrated by gallery owner Fang Zhi Hao and his wife Song Hui Qi. Despite finally achieving success, Shang Qian finds no joy in it. He realizes that he compromised his values in a moment of vanity. Shen Yue, his former lover, reappears in his life, driven by monetary gain. Tragically, the storyline takes a dark turn when a murder takes place, and the victim is revealed to be Shang Qian's wife, Zhuang Rui Ting.
