I was hoping to be drawn into this series, but unfortunately, I found it difficult to truly invest in the storyline. While I can acknowledge the talent of the lead actresses, the narrative itself failed to capture my attention as I had hoped.
Initially, the series started off on a promising note. The introduction of Ai to May had a compelling effect on me. Ai's confusion and amazement upon discovering May's hidden existence, kept secret by her sister Oom, set an intriguing tone. The emotional turmoil...Ai experiences as she delves into her sister's concealed life and assumes her identity had the potential to create a deep exploration of the complex relationship between the two sisters and their grandmother.
However, the series took a different direction than expected. Rather than delving deeper into the family dynamics and the sisters' past, it veered off course. It sporadically included flashbacks of Oom and the grandmother as an afterthought, only to return to them in a later episode that builds up to a confrontation between Ai and May. The actresses delivered strong performances in the said episode, yet the emotional impact fell short due to the lackluster buildup.
Instead of focusing on the intricate family drama, the series shifted its focus to Ai's developing romantic relationship with May, despite Ai still posing as Oom. While both characters exhibit flaws, the show failed to fully explore their complexities. The introduction of a court case involving Ai and her motorcycle friends felt forced, as insufficient time was allocated to establish emotional connections with these characters.
As the series progressed, I found myself growing disinterested. Filler scenes, such as prolonged sequences of jealousy and unnecessary tension, became tedious. The reliance on flashback sequences to depict May and Ai's backstory detracted from the present-day romantic moments, which often felt like a montage of clichéd romantic gestures. The persistent intrusion of Oom's memory into Ai's thoughts during intimate moments added an unwelcome layer of melodrama.
Despite my waning engagement, I continued watching due to positive reviews, hoping for a turnaround in the final episodes. While I am near the end, my initial reservations remain unchanged. Only a significant shift in the narrative and character development in the concluding episode could alter my overall view of the series. -

In this captivating series, communication transcends mere words as the characters express themselves through their eyes. It was my first foray into this genre, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The storyline is both exceptional and original, featuring two stunning female leads. May, a blind young woman, dedicates herself to caring for her beloved every day. On the other hand, Ai-oon is a tough yet tender individual who embarks on a quest to fulfill her sister's final wishes. When Ai-oon unexpectedly realizes her...
feelings for May, her girlfriend, their journey takes an unexpected turn. I had been yearning for a series that would truly impress me, and I finally found it. There's no need to hesitate—give it a shot by watching just one or two episodes, and you'll see for yourself. With its outstanding visuals, compelling cinematography, and a hint of mystery in the plot, this series had me hooked from the start. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

In the vast realm of GL media, a true gem of complexity shines brightest. Let's dive into what makes this series so special.
First and foremost, let's talk about the writing. Despite originating from a problematic novel, the series' writers flawlessly compensated for the book's shortcomings. The adjustments made, the storyline's pacing, and the overall narrative flow transformed this show into one of the standout GL dramas for me.
Moving on to the acting, Namtan deserves all the applause for her portrayal of Oom and Ai....Her ability to embody both characters with such distinction made it seem like they were played by two different individuals. Film, on the other hand, slipped effortlessly into the role of a visually impaired woman, delivering a performance so authentic it bordered on eerie. Together, Namtan and Film form a perfectly balanced acting duo, drawing viewers into the emotional core of the story.
What truly sets this series apart is its intricacy. The characters are deeply flawed, existing in shades of moral ambiguity that mirror real life. Yet, beneath these imperfections lies a humanity that resonates with audiences. The weighty themes addressed in the show are handled with care, maintaining a delicate balance that captivates and challenges viewers.
While the love triangle involving Jan, Pang, and Pim may have lacked depth and failed to establish a strong emotional connection, it exemplifies the daring complexity that defines this series. Despite its heavy themes, the show's moments of redemption offer a glimmer of hope and make it a compelling candidate for a rewatch, though be prepared for some intense emotional hurdles along the way.
In my opinion, this series stands as GMMTV's crowning achievement in the GL genre, setting a high standard for what's to come. For fans of the genre seeking a mix of depth, emotion, and complexity, this series is undoubtedly a must-watch. -

Exceeded my expectations, this enchanting series weaves a captivating narrative that beautifully echoes the charm of a classic fairytale. The impeccable performances and ethereal music selection elevate the storytelling to new heights. While the plot may not necessarily leave one in awe, the mesmerizing ambiance effortlessly engulfs the audience. The chemistry between Namtan and Film is palpable, with both actors delivering compelling performances that complement each other flawlessly. On the sidelines, the secondary couple's storyline, while decently acted, fails to evoke much investment. Nevertheless, this...
show is a delightful treat for fans of the romance genre or those seeking a well-crafted narrative.
