Summary:

A young woman leads a modest life as a water carrier in a celebrated Guangzhou eatery, surrounded by family and friends. She stays with her uncle and his son-by-adoption, who has harbored a secret love for the restaurant's attractive assistant chef, his best friend. The latter, in hopes of winning over the heart of this young woman, sets his sights on becoming an apprentice to the city's martial arts legend.

However, it is the young water carrier, initially indifferent to the world of combat, who finds her attention unexpectedly captured by the martial arts after witnessing a thrilling showdown between the legendary master and a skilled exponent of another martial arts school. Her fascination signals the beginning of an unforeseen journey into the discipline she once overlooked.
